This list is not limited to Roadsters alone. Mid & Rear Engine convertibles are also welcome to this list. So without any further ado, let's check out some of the best 2 door convertible sports cars as of now.
1. The first one on the list is an Alfa Romeo 4c Spider. The car looks fabulous and the Italian engineering and Design doesn't disappoint. It has presence and performance both.
2. Moving on, what's not to like about the Jaguar F-type, apart from its reliability. But what it lacks about the reliability it makes up for it in handling and with the way it sounds. It offers a multitude of Drivetrains.
3. How can we talk convertibles and not mention the Mercedes Amg GTR Roadster! Its a roadster with a long hood and a crop-top like rear end. The power and handling of this monster is undoubtedly one of the best in its league. The interior on this beautiful roadster is one of the finest in its class.
4. But what if you don't want to spend crazy on a weekend or a summer car. Well best of both worlds is the Mazda Miata. No matter what generation of Miata you get, its absolute fun be it the back roads or the track. And the price point doesn't make you feel guilty about having an extra car for the summer or the weekend.
5. Next is the Poor Man's Porsche, But despite that label, the Porsche Boxster is really an outstanding performer. The performance and Handling is only second to the 911. But calling it a poor man’s Porsche doesn't make it cheap by any means.
6. The next one on the list is America's Midlife crisis Therapist the Chevrolet Corvette (C7). It comes with an affordable price tag and an engine big enough in case you feel suicidal.
7. The New Roadster from Bmw the Z4 might not be as sensational as its predecessor the E89 z4 but it is a true roadster with its soft-top convertible roof and a long hood. Although it has a resemblance to the fiat's version of the Miata the spider it still has one of the best interiors of any roadsters in the market today. The 6 cylinder version of the car that shares its engine with the new supra produces 382 horsepower. This would be sitting in my garage only if it resembled more to the z4 concept car they launched initially.
